The biggest upset of the week belonged to Southmoore, who took down 28th ranked Southmoore, 27-20.
Edmond Santa Fe extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 4 this week by beating Norman, 27-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Wolves.
Tre Edwards provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the SaberCats lost to Edmond Memorial. He completed 14 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 48 yards. Edwards' favorite target this week was Jalen Adams, who caught five passes for 119 yards.
Pierce Spead was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 151 yards as Southmoore lost to the Bulldogs. Teammate Karltrell Henderson added to the ground attack by rushing for 78 yards.
Jonah Llanusa put up the best numbers through the air as Choctaw fell to Mustang. He finished with a total of 12 completions for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Llanusa's favorite target this week was Jake Rapp, who caught two passes for 43 yards.
Southmoore's offense has been unstoppable this season and the SaberCats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Edwards has thrown for 1578 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Adams has 27 catches for 587 yards. Henderson leads the league in rushing with 960 yards.
Imond Robinson of the the Tigers is only 84 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Robinson has rushed for 916 yards on 116 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in 6A District 4 this week will be when Edmond Memorial takes on Edmond Santa Fe. Justin Merideth's team is currently in sixth, while Lance Manning's team is in first.
The Wolves and Norman played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with the Wolves eventually emerging with a 27-21 victory.
