St. David's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Preston Copeland, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 48.8% of St. David's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was George Coleman, who scored six points along with two steals.
Leading GRACE Christian to victory were Michael Phillips II and Quasim Oden. Phillips II dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds, while Oden scored 22 points along with nine assists and six rebounds. Oden continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Noah Kyritsis was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
St. David's has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for GRACE Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
St. David's will head out on the road to challenge Cary Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cary Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. David's in North Carolina (Cary Christian is ranked 162nd, while St. David's is ranked 327th). As for GRACE Christian, they will be playing at home against New Life Camp at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Life Camp is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
