Even though the Vigor Wolves scored an imposing 70 points on Friday, the Blount Leopards still came out on top. Blount secured a 74-70 W over Vigor. The win made it back-to-back wins for Blount.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blount to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaiden Beck, who scored 22 points. Beck continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Taldon, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Blount now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vigor, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blount will face off against Mary G. Montgomery at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mary G. Montgomery will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Vigor, they will head out on the road to face off against Baker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baker has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
