Volleyball Recap: Jasper Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Buckhorn came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Jasper, but Addison Black wouldn't allow it. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bucks on Saturday for which the team can thank Black, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Jasper never let Buckhorn on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Buckhorn lost, don't look at Jordan Stone. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two assists.

Jasper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Buckhorn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-12.

Jasper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Homewood on the 27th. As for Buckhorn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Southside on the 27th.
