Discovery Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on October 2nd.
 The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18,  25-13.
 Lexi Haughian paced Discovery Canyon's offense, picking up seven kills. Haughian got some help from  Ava Grimm and her 12 assists. Finally,  Haughian was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
Discovery Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lewis-Palmer, the  victory was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Discovery Canyon will  face off against  rival Air Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer is set to  take on  their familiar foe Cheyenne Mountain  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
