The Winterboro Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Fayetteville Wolves, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Winterboro breezed by Fayetteville on the road to the tune of 60-6. With Winterboro ahead 30-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Winterboro found their leader in underclassman Katelyn Brown, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Jones, who scored 9 points along with 10 assists and 4 steals.
Winterboro's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fayetteville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winterboro will take on Vincent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville, they will be playing at home against Central of Coosa County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
