Powell is a perfect 10-0 against Campbell County since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Powell took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mountaineers a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Powell's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Kraatz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Kraatz is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Campbell County posted their closest win since March 7, 2025 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past South-Doyle 5-4.
Keira Bierdemann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jenna Pinkston, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Lynley Nelson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Campbell County's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Powell, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Campbell County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Powell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .367. It's a different story for Campbell County, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Powell's hitters?
Everything went Powell's way against Campbell County when the teams last played back in March, as Powell made off with a 21-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
