Wray were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They steamrollered Sheridan 48-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.
Sophomore Tyler Collins, who rushed for 53 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in Wray's success. On the defensive end, senior Cade Hillman was a one-man blockade for them with 3 sacks and 9 tackles.
The win got Wray back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Sheridan's record to 1-2.
Wray are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Cornerstone Christian Academy next week at Broomfield Commons Championship Field at 4:00 PM. As for Sheridan, they will face off against Estes Park. Sheridan come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
