Centennial put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 65-56 win over the Pope John Paul II Knights.

When it comes to explaining why Pope John Paul II lost, don't look at Osby Cavin. Despite the final result, he shot 41% from the field on his way to 22 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Cavin's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Wiggins, who posted 15 points.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Pope John Paul II, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-56 loss against Webster Groves on the 29th. As for Pope John Paul II, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-42 win against Trinity on the 29th.
