Burbank has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 3rd. They fell just short of the Moorpark Musketeers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Burbank can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while Moorpark are ranked 107th).

Aram Hovanessian wasn't going to let Moorpark walk away unscathed as he scored both of Burbank's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Moorpark, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burbank will be home for the holidays to greet Taft at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Moorpark, they will finish 2025 at home by hosting Bishop Amat at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
