Basketball Game Preview: Hill Freedman World Academy vs. Olney Trojans

Hill Freedman World Academy will take on the Olney Trojans at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Hill Freedman World Academy sitting on seven straight wins and Olney on four.

On Thursday, Hill Freedman World Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Thomas A. Edison. They came out on top against the Owls by a score of 62-53.

Hill Freedman World Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dahkenah Wilkins, who posted 16 points. The game was Wilkins' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amaad Lyles, who earned 16 points.

While Olney didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 55-49 win over Digital Harbor on Saturday.

Hill Freedman World Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Olney, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
