After two games on the road, Robinson is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Osbourn Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Robinson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
Even though Robinson has not done well against Lake Braddock recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. It was close, but Robinson ultimately received the gift of a 60-58 win from a begrudging Ramssquad. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Matteen Rahim and Scott Van antwerp were among the main playmakers for Robinson as the former scored 12 points along with three blocks and the latter scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Sebastian, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Osbourn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Battlefield, falling 54-20. Osbourn has struggled against Battlefield recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Robinson now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Osbourn, they bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
