Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lafayette). Everything went their way against the Lexington Christian Eagles on Wednesday as they made off with  a  21-0 victory. Considering the Generals have won 11 games by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Addison Combs, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Anna Clay Denton, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs.
 Lafayette was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .864. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .346 or higher in six consecutive  contests.
Lafayette is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Lexington Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
