Liberty-Benton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Paulding between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Maddy Amstutz, who had 14 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
Meanwhile, Otsego came up short against Eastwood last Thursday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
While Eastwood got the win, Otsego sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, 21-25, 25-20.
Liberty-Benton's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Otsego, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Liberty-Benton has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Otsego struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
