Hammond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sara Yarnell out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Nia Green was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Oakland Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hammond, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
