Central Noble had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fort Wayne North Side Legends on Saturday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Noble took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-15.

Central Noble's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jalayna Winebrenner led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Winebrenner has posted over her last six contests.

Winebrenner wasn't the only good servers: Central Noble was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matches.
