The O'Neill Raiders will take on the Bronxville Broncos at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but O'Neill had no problem doing just that on Friday. They didn't even let Chester/Seward Park onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory.
O'Neill can attribute much of their success to Thomas McGuinness, who rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. McGuinness was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Marek Arbogast was another key contributor, picking up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bronxville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westlake on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 13-7 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bronxville.
O'Neill now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bronxville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
