There's no place like home for Pleasant Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-28 victory over the Spanish Fork Dons on Friday. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Pleasant Grove to victory were Ryder Huntsman and Tavake Wolfgramm. Huntsman gained 161 total yards and four touchdowns, while Wolfgramm rushed for 100 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries. Wolfgramm's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.

Pleasant Grove's run defense was locked in: Spanish Fork could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Derek Brinton for the heroic effort on defense: he. Pleasant Grove didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.6.

Pleasant Grove's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for 6.5 sacks. Linford McBride was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Dexton Nuttall was another major factor on D, making six total tackles and defending six passes.

When it comes to explaining why Spanish Fork lost, don't look at Nixon Warren. Despite the final result, he picked up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards. Jaxon Cloward also helped out with an impressive 101 receiving yards.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Spanish Fork, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
