The Camden Bulldogs can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 114-15 win over Marlboro County. Camden's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Joyce Edwards was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 33 points, 24 rebounds, and nine steals. Edwards is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Braylin Mungo, who scored 18 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Camden's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 52.8 points. As for Marlboro County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden will face off against Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Crestwood likes a good challenge. As for Marlboro County, they will head out on the road to take on Lake City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marlboro County is facing Lake City at the right time seeing as Lake City is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
