Gabe Campbell Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Young Americans Christian got the W thanks in part to Gabe Campbell playing the best football he has all season. Campbell made ten total tackles and defended three passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending three passes.
Young Americans Christian's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Campbell's next contest is against Community Christian on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Lucas Scheffer stepped things up a notch to give Johnson Ferry Christian Academy the 'W'. Scheffer turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 185 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 94 yards on only seven carries.
Fideles Christian had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Scheffer it was a similar story. Scheffer rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes the last time he and the Rangers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Matthew Mitchell and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Matthew Mitchell was instrumental in extending Pinecrest Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Mitchell was dynamite, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
