After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Timber Creek, Lake Buena Vista was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 79-74 win over the East Ridge Knights. The Vipers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lake Buena Vista's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Travis Ligene, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Ligene has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Alessandro Ferace, who went 9 of 16 en route to 23 points and five assists.

Lake Buena Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

When it comes to explaining why East Ridge lost, don't look at Jordan Corman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. Those 26 points gave Corman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Kendrick, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points.

The win got Lake Buena Vista back to even at 4-4. As for East Ridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Lake Buena Vista will venture away from home to square off against Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Ridge will take on West Port in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season.
