The Hickory Christian Academy Knights pushed their score all the way to 66 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their2023 ended with a 83-66 loss against North Cross.
North Cross got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Antonio Mack out in front who scored 30 points. The matchup was Mack's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesiah Hines, who scored 24 points.
Hickory Christian Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for North Cross, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickory Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Salem Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Salem Baptist Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for North Cross, they will head out on the road to face off against Fishburne Military at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Fishburne Military focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday.
