Crescent City moved up to 417 from 460 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A District 8. The Raiders were able to make the jump by topping Hamilton County 12-2.
Crescent City made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,156 from 10,827. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 12-2 victory over the Trojans last week.
6-foot-0 quarterback Chase Kelly of The Villages Charter is the league leader in passing yards this season with 252. He has also thrown one touchdown. On the ground, Taylor's Dexter Rodriguez has rushed for 327 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is James (J.T.) Hearn. The Taylor star has 12 catches for 141 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wildcats take on Wildwood. As it stands, Taylor is in first, while the Wildcats are in third.
