On Tuesday, East Coweta took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-20 win over Redan. East Coweta pushed the score to 50-13 by the end of the third, a deficit Redan cut but never quite recovered from.
It was another big night for Kezoriyah Blackshear, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of East Coweta's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieara Lugo, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
East Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Redan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which is still a better percentage than their 5-17 record this season.
East Coweta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-35 defeat vs. Campbell on the 9th. Redan has also already played their next game, a 71-23 loss against Callaway on the 10th.
