Lake-Lehman is a perfect 10-0 against MMI Preparatory School since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will face off against MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake-Lehman has six straight wins, MMI Preparatory School has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Lake-Lehman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Greater Nanticoke Area 21-0 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Hannah Chipego made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Kirsten Finarelli was incredible, firing off two home runs and five runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. She has been hot, having posted at least one home run the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Brudnicki, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Lake-Lehman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greater Nanticoke Area only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, MMI Preparatory School started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Mountain View. They lost 19-9 to the Eagles on Friday. While MMI Preparatory School didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Mountain View 4-0 in the first period.
Lake-Lehman pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for MMI Preparatory School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
Lake-Lehman took their victory against MMI Preparatory School when the teams last played back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 21-2 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will MMI Preparatory School turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
