It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Highlands ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Derry Trojans as they made off with  an  11-5 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Golden Rams' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Highlands let  Jake King and  Will Singer run wild. King  scored a  run while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances, while  Singer  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Luke Lattus was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Highlands was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
