The Caldwell Bluejays can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Argonia by a score of 53-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caldwell also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Argonia lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dalton Morrison. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Filippo Leonardi, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Caldwell's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Argonia, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Caldwell will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cedar Vale/Dexter at 7:30 p.m. Argonia will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Udall at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Udall is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
