Coronado had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Cheyenne Mountain on Friday as they made off with a 37-14 win. Coronado was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Coronado will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Lewis-Palmer at 6:00 PM. Cheyenne Mountain are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Sand Creek next week at 7:00 PM.
