Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Chowchilla Tribe, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 35-28 to Roosevelt on Friday. Chowchilla's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Davian Stephenson rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Chowchilla's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Roosevelt, their victory was their third straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 7-4.
Chowchilla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Roosevelt will head out on the road to face off against Exeter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Exeter has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
