The Fairview Tigers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Harbor Creek by a score of 42-39. Fairview lost against Harbor Creek in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-38 score last time.
Harbor Creek's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JT Delsandro, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Chwatek, who scored 16 points.
Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Harbor Creek, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Fairview will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Erie at 7:30 p.m. Erie and Fairview are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Harbor Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
