After four games on the road, River Valley is heading back home. They will take on Potosi/Cassville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (River Valley is ranked 402nd, while Potosi/Cassville is ranked 399th).
Last Thursday, River Valley strolled past Richland Center with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. The victory was just what River Valley needed coming off of a 54-29 loss in their prior match.
River Valley found their leader in underclassman Brooklyn Stokes, who scored 17 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stokes has scored all season. Lexi Deviney was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Potosi/Cassville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 46-35 to Shullsburg.
River Valley's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12. As for Potosi/Cassville, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-12.
