They claimed a resounding 77-43 victory over Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy on the road. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Pinnacle Classical Academy had established a 23 point advantage.
Pinnacle Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Gentry, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Bridges, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Pinnacle Classical Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinnacle Classical Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Community Christian Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 802 points over their last 11 matches.
