Rianna Gonzales was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Cheyenne Fields and Liza Schexnayder did most of the damage at the plate: Fields went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI, while Schexnayder got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those two triples gave Fields a new career-high. Marley Christian was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Canyon Lake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bandera only posted an OBP of .227.
Meanwhile, Lago Vista waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Longhorns.

She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Mosser, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Emerson Burke, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Lago Vista's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.1 runs over those games. As for Canyon Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
