The Wooster Colts lost to the Sage Ridge Scorpions back in November of 2022, but the Wooster Colts didn't allow the Sage Ridge Scorpions the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Wooster took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 59-13 victory over Sage Ridge. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-12.
Jamal Gaitor was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Jared Marquicias, who scored 9 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Wooster and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Sage Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Wooster's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fairmont Prep at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Sage Ridge, they will face off against Dayton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
