After flying high against the Decatur Bulldogs last Tuesday, the Midtown Knights came back down to earth. Midtown fell just short of North Atlanta by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Midtown couldn't push the score so high this time.
Midtown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Atlanta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Midtown will head out on the road to challenge North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Atlanta, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m.
