Palo Verde and Arbor View are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Aggies at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palo Verde will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
On Thursday, Palo Verde made easy work of Bishop Alemany and carried off a 13-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

At the plate, Ethan Clauss was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Johns, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Palo Verde kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Arbor View faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Aggies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Patriots. The victory was nothing new for the Aggies as they're now sitting on three straight.
The team relied heavily on Jase DeSantis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Jacob Belanger also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Palo Verde has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Arbor View, their record now sits at 15-8.
Palo Verde took their victory against Arbor View in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aggies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
