On Wednesday, Roncalli was the victim of a tough 61-35 loss at the hands of Warren Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Roncalli has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Roncalli still got an impressive performance from Noah Schmaltz, who scored 11 points. Schmaltz continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Taylor, who scored five points.
Roncalli's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Warren Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roncalli will take on Triton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren Central, they will be playing at home against Zionsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
