The Lone Peak Knights can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past American Fork 66-44. Winning may never get old, but Lone Peak sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lone Peak's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sarah Bartholomew led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Bartholomew hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Naia Tanuvasa was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lone Peak is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for American Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Lone Peak will head out on the road to take on Lehi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehi is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for American Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
