After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Wyandotte brought some dynamite into their most recent  contest. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Central Blue Eagles  a   17-0 shutout  on Monday. The Bulldogs not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 28, 2024.

 Jacob Mascorro made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. That  hit marked the first that  he  got this season.
 In other batting news,  Jamarion Madlock was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Dockery, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Wyandotte  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .533. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Wyandotte's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Central, their defeat was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-2.
Wyandotte will have a chance to go back-to-back against Central: the pair will be back at it again later today.
