Lyndhurst is 9-1 against Harrison since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lyndhurst Golden Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Harrison Blue Tide at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Lyndhurst focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday.
On Saturday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Lyndhurst had to settle for a 44-42 defeat against Waldwick.
Despite their loss, Lyndhurst saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brooke Harper, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Sam Mayer, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Harrison had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against St. Mary by a score of 38-29 on Saturday.
Lyndhurst's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything came up roses for Lyndhurst against Harrison in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 54-20 victory. With Lyndhurst ahead 34-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
