The Glendora Tartans can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 79-26 victory over Claremont on the road. Winning may never get old, but Glendora sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Claremont's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Mascarin, who scored nine points.
Glendora is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Claremont, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendora on the road again on Friday and play against Alta Loma at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. The timing isn't great for Alta Loma: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Glendora has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. As for Claremont, they will challenge Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colony is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
