Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lane Tingey, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 95 receiving yards. Another passer making a difference was Eli Duff, who threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes.
Although Rio Linda took the loss, they still got scores from Malachi Mosby and Cayden Lockling.
Lincoln will square off against Woodland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Rio Linda, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Placer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Linda will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
