It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bell Creek Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders 77-57. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Bell Creek Academy to victory were Natalia Long and Christyana Allen. Long posted 25 points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Allen dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Long is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaslyn Easley, who scored 12 points.

Sophia Landen and Emme Dalhoff certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Landen went 10-for-21 to rack up 26 points, while Dalhoff almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Landen a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Comfort, who put up five points and three steals.

Bell Creek Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

Looking ahead, Bell Creek Academy will face off against Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Evangelical Christian sitting on seven straight wins and Bell Creek Academy on six. Clearwater Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
