After a disappointing 0 points in the game before, Newton South made sure to put some points up on the board against Boston Latin on Friday. Newton South put the hurt on Boston Latin with a sharp 43-14 victory.
The win got Newton South back to even at 2-2. Boston Latin are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Newton South will stay at home next week against Wayland at 4:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Newton South and Wayland will really light up the scoreboard. As for Boston Latin, they will face off against Bedford. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Boston Latin and five for Bedford.
