Avier Elvira Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Palmer Ridge got the W thanks in part to Avier Elvira playing the best football he has all season. Elvira rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Air Academy's probably not too fond of Elvira given he always seems to get the better of them. Elvira rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Kadets duked it out back in October of 2023.

Big Game from Stevens As Vista Ridge Won 54-35
The second Vista Ridge player making an appearance here is Zayden Stevens, and for good reason. He threw for 160 yards and four touchdowns.
Stevens will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Rampart on Friday. The last time Stevens took on the Rams, he threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 92 yards on only nine carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
