After flying high against the Goleman Gators on Wednesday, the North Miami Beach Chargers came back down to earth. North Miami Beach fell 46-35 to Dr. Krop on Friday. North Miami Beach has not had much luck with Dr. Krop recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
North Miami Beach lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Laila Henderson, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Henderson scored a full 25.7% of North Miami Beach's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Vanejia Bryant was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
North Miami Beach's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Dr. Krop, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Miami Beach will face off against Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Edison: 20.5, North Miami Beach: 26.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Dr. Krop's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lourdes Academy at 5:10 p.m. on December 19th.
