Softball Recap: Paulding County Has No Trouble Against Osborne

Paulding County got themselves on the board against Osborne on Monday, but Osborne never followed suit. They blew past the Cardinals 16-0. Considering the Patriots have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubree Busby was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Ella Puckett was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Paulding County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Paulding County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Osborne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
