Nonnewaug waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Kaynor RVT Panthers with a sharp 15-2 win. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Nonnewaug got a massive performance out of Henry Keil, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave Keil a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of R.J. Barksdale, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Nonnewaug was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive games.

Nonnewaug's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Kaynor RVT, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Nonnewaug wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Watertown on the 25th. Kaynor RVT has also already played their next matchup (against Wright Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
