Triangle Math & Science's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amritha Tatineni led the charge by putting up 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Tatineni is becoming a predictor of Triangle Math & Science's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 12-1 (and 2-7 when she doesn't). Zainab Mcelhinney was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nikole Weed, who posted four points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Triangle Math & Science has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Clover Garden School struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.5 rebounds.
