It was a good run, but The Potter Valley Bearcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Roseland University Prep, falling 60-18. Potter Valley lost against Roseland University Prep in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 22-14 score last time.
Jovani Lott threw for 55 yards while completing 100% of his passes. Cayden Keeton was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Jaime Castro rushed for 57 yards on only five carries.
Potter Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Roseland University Prep, their victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0.
Potter Valley will take on Anderson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Anderson Valley is ranked 66th, while Potter Valley is ranked 81st). As for Roseland University Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Laytonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
